M Bar C Safety Program recognized for stellar training, processes and low incident rates.
M Bar C Construction is the proud recipient of the ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) STEP Safety Award. This award was presented to M Bar C in recognition of our companies “Silver Level” of achievement and it’s ongoing efforts in the development of a quality safety program for 2017. This award makes considerable recognition of our excellent safety procedures and in-depth safety training. Additionally, reaching Silver Level STEP Qualification acknowledges M Bar C Construction as having a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) no greater than 25% higher than the national average.
M Bar C Construction is proud to be a longterm partner with ABC because they provide many safety resources such as training and seminars. ABC also conducts monthly quarterbacks that provide our team with invaluable information and feedback that allows us to better strengthen our safety and training processes. At M Bar C we are constantly training employees to not only to recognize hazards but to also understand mitigating processes. This approach encourages our crews to work in a safe environment while also help keep each other accountable.
Justin Bailey, Safety Manager, explained the importance of effective safety training: “At M Bar C we see our team members as more than just M Bar C employees. We see our employees as family, and our number one goal is to get everyone home safe to their families.” Justin continued, “Receiving this award means a lot to our Safety Crew at M Bar C. However, we wouldn’t be successful if it wasn’t for the support and diligence of all our employees. We can give classes, share knowledge, and perform audits but without the dedication of the crews to one another’s safety, we would fail. This award is really a result of their hard work and dedication and we here in the M Bar C Safety Department are honored to serve them in this sometimes-dangerous industry”.
Congratulations M Bar C Team! Thank you for always striving to know better, do better and be better.
